YouTube: How To Successfully Grow Your Channel

YouTube: How To Successfully Grow Your Channel

Are people still using YouTube? That’s the question that we get day in and day out. Of course they are! More people are using YouTube today to both consume information and grow their brand than ever before.

More than 2 billion individuals are visiting the platform monthly and they’re consuming billions of hours worth of video content daily. The majority of this content is being consumed via mobile too.

So, now that you know so many people are using this platform, as a cam girl should you be as well? Of course you should! We previously covered Twitch and live streaming in 2020. Now it’s time to cover YouTube specifically and how you too can be growing your brand and creating content on the platform regularly.

Tips For Successfully Growing Your Brand Via YouTube

If you’re feeling completely lost then that’s okay, there are plenty of people that feel the same way. Starting something new isn’t easy, but getting out of your comfort zone is the best way to grow.

That said, some of the things that I’m going to suggest you do are not easy, but they lead to crazy brand growth if done right. If you want to increase your reach as a cam girl via YouTube, then you’ll have to take a few specific steps to really catapult things.

The first thing you need to understand is that all the content produced and streamed on the platform must be safe for work. Don’t even think of using YouTube to showcase any of your explicit content. If so, you’ll get the ban hammer tossed at you quicker than you can even imagine.

It’s important that you not break the rules here. This is exceptionally important in light of what’s been going on at Pornhub lately. They’re purging UGC content and trust me, YouTube wants no part of the adult UGC content today and likely for the foreseeable future. Now, for the important tips for growing your channel.

Invest In Your Education

Aside from reading this post in order to gain some tips and tricks, you should really invest in learning how to master this platform. The first place to start is Creator Academy. YouTube has a section dedicated towards getting discovered.

You’ll find six individual lessons covering various topics. They pretty much cover all the basics and must-knows for success. So definitely check those videos out after reading this.

Create Killer Thumbnails

If you want to grow your channel and audience, then you need to know how to get more people watching your videos. The first thing they see when performing a search query in YouTube is your thumbnail.

These images can make or break your video performance. So many people sleep on this and I’m not sure why. But if your thumbnail isn’t interesting enough to drive clicks, then no one will care to watch your video.

What does well when it comes to thumbnails? Things like highlighted text on images, use of arrows, oversized text, strange, unique and unusual images. All of these things improve CTR, so please think about using them.

Avoid Boring Titles

You’ll want to avoid creating boring titles if you want your channel to take off. Writing titles as questions works well, but they must be creative. The best way to see what works here is to do a search in YouTube for the topic you’re covering and see what’s ranking or trending.

Do the titles written differ from one to another? Is there something similar to those ranking in the top 3 results? If so, then try and take a similar approach.

Remember, there’s a fine line between copying and trying to compete. It’s important that you never directly create the same exact title of another video. This is bad, really bad, so please do not do it.

Pick A Specific Niche

If you want to build your brand fast, then it’s important to not be all over the place with regards to topics being covered. For example, if you’re going to start a channel that covers makeup, then don’t venture off into politics or sports.

Unless the topics being covered share some level of relevancy, then you should avoid covering it. Once you reach the status of some mega brands, then you can go more broad but until then, stick to your niche.

Think about it like this…

When you’re searching online for some advice are you more likely to listen to the person who’s an expert on that topic or someone who randomly covers many topics? Of course, the expert is who you’re going to listen to.

Keeping the content within a niche will help you better attract viewers who will be interested in consuming all your content, not just one video.

Upload Regularly

Just like anything else in life, showing up is half the battle. If you want to make strides and grow your audience you need to publish new content regularly. The best way to do this is to produce a content schedule.

Publish weekly on the same day and at the same time so that your audience knows when to expect updates. This will drive more users to organically search for your channel on YouTube and trust me, it will help build channel authority overall.

Focus On Views…Not Subscribers

The only way people are going to subscribe to your channel is if they’re interested enough in your content. That happens after they’ve consumed a portion of your content.

Instead of focusing on subscribers, you should be putting all your effort into driving more views. The subscribers will come if you do everything else right and most importantly, if your content is unique enough to warrant them hitting that subscribe button.

Write Good Descriptions

Some people completely skip this part out of sheer laziness. If you take a look at the most popular videos on YouTube, you will notice that they all have lots of information and links to their channel and videos. On top of that, they’re extremely descriptive, explaining everything about the video in great detail. Don’t skimp on this as it’s better to add the meta.

Encourage Engagement

In the beginning and throughout your videos, you should remind consumers that they’re feedback and questions are encouraged. This will help improve your connection to your audience and build further trust. Tell them to leave a comment below and ask any additional questions on the topic you’re covering. This should help get the conversations going!

Keep It Clean

This is an important one so I’m mentioning it again. Remember, YouTube is a non-adult platform that has a zero tolerance policy on NSFW content. Keep your videos clean and don’t push the envelope too much here because it’s just going to hurt in the long run.

If you’re looking to post explicit content, then you’re better off uploading media to your Camsoda profile since it’s a non-censored extension of your YouTube channel.

Don’t Focus On Monetization

If you’re looking to monetize your channel and videos, then you’re going to have to get to 4,000 hours of video consumption in order to do so. While this seems pretty much impossible right now, it’s not. In fact, it doesn’t require a thousands of video uploads to accomplish this. Don’t focus on monetization at first.

Instead, focus on creating good quality content that people will want to share. When one of your videos eventually pops off and gets tons of views, go back to that video and analyze things. Find out what made this pop off and replicate it across new videos you produce.

Share Your Videos

You need to drive more people to your videos. The best way to do this is by sharing your content via all the social media channels that you use. Post your videos on your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. Ask your fans to retweet, like and share the video. This will increase your view count and overall reach.

just do it

Conclusion: Be Patient, Just Do It!

It’s pretty simple really. If you want to grow your brand via YouTube then you need to take the time to create good content that your audience finds interesting. Stay in your lane and keep content interesting. Be vocal and active within the comments section and don’t be afraid to ask the audience what they want from you.

If you do this and show up when needed, there’s a good chance that it’s going to lead to more money and brand growth overall. Should you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
