Coarse Nail File – You’ll need this to file and shape your nails. Be sure to not overuse these and to discard them when done. If overused, they can build up bacteria as a result. Use it and then toss.

Nail Tip Glue – Target.com sells this glue for $1.99. This is needed to get your acrylic tips to stick and stay. 

Acrylic Nail Dehydrator – This product will help you reduce the oil on your nails. Doing this will help the acrylics stick better. You can pick this product up at Walmart.com for $5.99. It’s not a necessity if you don’t have oily nails. If you do, then you’ll want to pick this up. 

Acrylic Nail Primer – This product removes the grease from your nails and helps change the pH of your nail. This treatment will help the gel or acrylic better stick to your nail. Pick a bottle up for $6.99 at Amazon.com. 

Acrylic Liquid Monomer – You’ll need this if you intend on getting fancy with designs. This can be used to help things stick to the acrylic. 

Acrylic Powder – This is used to create that shiny gloss on your nail. It’s what makes them stick out and look really shiny. 

Acrylic Brush & Bowl For Mixing – Any bowl will do, but as for the brushes, you want to pick up an acrylic oval brush #8, which is a durable 8mm brush that’s the perfect size. You may want to search Amazon for acrylic nail brushes. Be sure to read the reviews before taking action.
